David Sweeney

Principal Solicitor

As Principal of the firm, David oversees all departments and keeps a close eye on all machinations involved in the running of a bustling medical negligence and personal injury law firm.

David has a Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies (BBLS) from University College Dublin. He completed his professional training in Blackhall Place, the Law Society of Ireland and is also a qualified Notary Public.

Originally from the home of hurling in Thurles, County Tipperary, David now lives in Cork with his wife, Kate and their two daughters Nell and Nancy.

David was recently appointed President of Sunday’s Well Rugby Club for the season  ahead.

David is also a supporter of the Rebels Mixed Ability Rugby Team and is looking forward to Sundays Well RFC hosting the IMART 2020 World Cup next June.

Katie O Regan

Legal Executive / Receptionist

Katie is an integral part of the front office team at Sweeney Solicitors.

Katie manages the day to day running of the office and is often the first point of contact for all Sweeney Solicitors clients and prides herself on her efficiency, professionalism and can do attitude.

Katie is currently finalising her Legal Executive training and has a particular interest in personal injury litigation.

Kelly Rosborough

Legal Executive

Kelly, a Cork native, studied in UCC and has been with Sweeney Solicitors for nearly seven years.

Kelly thrives in the day to day challenges of a busy personal injury legal practice and her service orientated demeanour and communication skills have led praise to her professional handling of all client queries

Kelly deals in all aspect of personal injury claims with a particular interest in the area of medical negligence.

Tina Kastrati

Trainee Solicitor

Tina joined the firm in 2017 and is now completing her Law Society of Ireland Solicitor Traineeship programme

Approachable and personable, Tina assures that the highest level of client focus is always at the forefront of everything she does.

Tina enjoys working in a fast paced personal injury law firm and is gaining invaluable experience working on a wide variety of personal injury and medical negligence cases

Audrey Walsh

Accounts Manager

Audrey has worked with the firm since 2016 and manages and controls all aspects of the accounts and book keeping services of Sweeney Solicitors
